Illustrated Site Plan

A variety of massing options were explored on the site, including options for both the retention and removal of the existing apartment building.

The programming of the school was broken down into categories and assigned ideal square footage. The program was organized on the horizontal and vertical planes in conjunction, considering where the activity was most appropriate according to movement, function, daylighting, and accessibility.

Massing and program allocation through planning happened in conjunction, ensuring they were both working together throughout the process.
