The Dr. Phillips Center is a performing arts center occupying a full block in central Orlando, FL. It houses three performance halls, and features a roof which cantilevers 75' over the city below.
This view from upper level of the lobby illustrates the prominence of the 'wave wall', a 28,000 square foot three dimensionally curved shotcrete wall providing the acoustical barrier between the halls and the lobby.
The juxtaposition of the wave wall and a Naval Destroyer class warship illustrates the scale of this element.
An interior view of the Music Hall, the hall in the Center devoted to classical orchestral music and seating 1,500 guests.
